The realm of spirituality is overflowing with passion and reverence, and when we look at the world through this passion, we often cannot express these feelings through normal rational and coherent structures.

We know that we have touched that which is unknowable and divine, and the words flow forth like an out pouring of life itself and distills into the essence of who we are.

Poetic expression of this passion helps us to understand these fragmented and erratic feeling, creating a rhythm that elegantly harmonizes our whole being - physical, mental, and spiritual. Speaking to us about our own deeper self, touching that which would otherwise be lost or hidden.

Helping us to feel our lives rather than be numb to the passion flowing just below the surface, and a page touched with a poem, becoming a place for exploration and transformation.

A way of seeing and naming that which we cannot understand or express rationally, as the poem leaps from the page, alive and powerful, it grips our hearts, calling to us and saying: Where are you with your life?

Songs of a Mystic is a collection of my favorite poems, often they bubble up during meditation and I write them quickly, before they are lost.
